The simplest way to begin your aōza matcha ritual. This engraved scoop is carved from natural purple bamboo and measures the traditional portion of matcha — about 1g per scoop. Because every piece is handmade, the tone of the bamboo and depth of the engraving vary, giving each scoop its own character. A tool to keep close at hand, and the most elegant way to start your matcha moment.
Use: 2 scoops = 1 serving of aōza matcha.
Material: Purple bamboo, engraved.
Care instructions:
- Rinse lightly with lukewarm water if needed, but avoid soaking.
- Do not expose to hot water, soap, or dishwasher — this can warp the bamboo.
- Dry with a soft cloth and allow to air-dry fully before storing.
- Store in a dry place, away from direct sunlight.

At aōza, we aim to deliver your matcha as smoothly and swiftly as possible. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about our shipping process.
Processing time
All orders placed before 16:00 on business days are processed and shipped on the same day. Orders placed during weekends or public holidays will be shipped on the next working day.
Shipping within the EU
- Free shipping on orders over €45
- For orders under €45, shipping costs are calculated at checkout
Delivery times (after shipping)
- The Netherlands: 1–2 business days
- EU: 2–7 business days, depending on the destination
Tracking
Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive a tracking link via email so you can follow your matcha all the way to your door.
Returns
For hygiene reasons, opened matcha cannot be returned.
