To preserve its flavour, freshness and vibrant colour, store your matcha in a cool, dry place, away from light, air and humidity.
Once opened, we recommend consuming within 1–2 months for optimal taste, though it remains safe to use for up to 12 months from the production date when stored properly.
For best results, keep the matcha in an airtight, lightproof container — like our biophotonic glass jar — and avoid refrigeration after opening, as moisture can affect the powder.

Usucha (Thin Tea):
- Sift 1–2g (about 1 tsp) of matcha into a bowl.
- Add 60–70 ml of hot water (not boiling — ~75–80°C).
- Whisk gently in a W motion using a bamboo chasen until a fine layer of foam appears.
- Sip slowly and mindfully.
Matcha Latte
- Sift 1–2g (about 1 tsp) of matcha into a bowl or mug.
- Add 30 ml of hot water (~75–80°C).
- Whisk until smooth (no lumps).
- Add 125-150 ml of warm (or cold) milk or a milk alternative.
- Optional: Sweeten to taste with honey, maple syrup, or a hint of vanilla.
